Intaglio Printmaking

These are some of my Intaglio prints.

The method I use is etching & aquatint, sometimes with drypoint.

The image is made to a copper plate with specific etching & aquatint processes and ferric chloride, and then printed onto a sturdy etching paper by hand, with an etching press.

Each plate prints an edition on multiple prints and the handwritten serial number below the image tells the size of the edition and the number of the print.
